Prayer of St Thomas Aquinas

Source:
Grant me, O Lord my God,
a mind to know you,
a heart to seek you,
wisdom to find you,
conduct pleasing to you,
faithful perseverance in waiting for you,
and a hope of finally embracing you.

Amen.

Blessed are the pure in heart - they shall see God.

My own favorite, the one we learned and prayed daily whilst attending Dr. Boyle's classes at the University of St. Thomas:

Grant, O merciful God that I may ardently desire, prudently examine, truthfully acknowledge, and perfectly accomplish what is pleasing to Thee, for the praise and glory of Thy Name. Amen.

Amen!

(My Confirmation Saint, by the way.)

He's beautifully thorough, isn't he? =) What I memorised was his Prayer before Study.
